University of North Carolina
With locations in Chapel Hill as well as Greensboro, the University of North Carolina offers an abundance of options for those seeking nutritionist degrees. Offering degrees in both graduate as well as undergraduate, this school allows students to earn degrees in public health, nutritional biochemistry as well as a doctor of philosophy. Students can apply to the program "after completing 52-60 credit hours of course work or by examination/advanced placement credit. Considerations for Nutrition Degrees
In order to become a registered dietitian, students must not only graduate with a bachelor's degree in nutrition, but they must pass state license and certification requirements. Field experience is usually a must as well as a maintaining a certain GPA.
